Sarah Rawls (Baumgardner) whose husband, Elijah Rawls, and brother-in-law James Rawls, are both interred at Thomas Cemetery. Her parents, Lewis and Hulda Rose are also both interred at Thomas cemetery. 

Thomas Cemetery  was recognized by the National Society Daughters of the American Colonists (NSDAC) for its historic value to the City of North Little Rock.  A plaque was placed at the cemetery in October 2020 and a dedication event was held to mark the occasion. Members of the NSDAC, NLR City Officials, and Thomas Cemetery Board members attended.
